Split Indecision is a psychological thriller that gives readers the
feeling of being a fly on the wall in the minds of four characters,
each with their own private demon, living in a reverie of crazed
uncertainty . . .
Jacob Livingston, heir to his family’s fortune, witnessed the brutal
murder of his parents. He believes his illegitimate half sister,
Elizabeth, is responsible for their deaths as well as keeping him
drugged for a couple of years.
Elizabeth hates men; especially Jacob’s father whom she blames for her
mother’s terminal cancer. Without her mother’s protection, Elizabeth
maintains her sanity, or her insanity, by developing two complex
personalities to deal with situations she can’t handle on her own.
In an elaborate scheme to take over Jacob’s inheritance and eventually
kill him, Elizabeth solicits the help of A. J. Taylor, a clinical
psychologist, to declare Jacob unfit to handle his estate, and her
secretary, Cheryl Gooden, whose involvement in Elizabeth’s life makes
her a sure candidate for her boss’s couch.
In the end, the situation all of the characters find themselves in
takes a startling turn with Elizabeth fighting for her life— while
Jacob, Cheryl, and A. J. come to understand that all may not be what
it seems.
